The main principle of this system is intelligent body temperature regulation. The most famous version uses a silver thermo-reflective pattern on the inside of the garment to reflect the wearer's own heat back to the body, while the breathable structure of the material allows excess moisture and heat to escape. The Omni-Heat™ family includes varying degrees of protection - from lightweight reflective linings to advanced synthetic insulation that mimics down feathers in its properties. The result is clothing that is lightweight, great packable and provides maximum thermal comfort without bulk.
